New starter in the customs team

FLS is pleased to introduce Elliot Williamson – originally from Caldicot South Wales, and after working in the sector in Bridgend and Bristol, is now living in Langstone Newport, has joined the FLS International team as Transport Planner, currently focusing on UK customs.
Elliott started his career as a special needs teaching assistant, but after 6 years made a complete change and landed a job with Davies Turner Transport on their Road Freight Export and then on the Ocean Freight Import teams as a Customer Freight Coordinator.
As part of the FLS International team Elliott, will be managing customers’ transport needs and specialising in UK customs entries, transit documents, European road freight (Inc Ireland). Elliot is an avid gym user and enjoys football, Jiu-Jitsu, learning Spanish and all music.
Gavin Clarke – Operations Director commented ‘we were well prepared and resourced for Brexit and the challenges thrown at our sector for customs and changed procedures, and this is reflected by our ongoing need to add additional talent to the international team. FLS’ International business has grown rapidly over the past 3 months as FLS is providing the frictionless freight in and out of Europe that our customers need, we are very excited to have Elliot on board and the experience he brings, welcome the team.’
