Due to the continued fast growth of the business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Systems Analyst to join our company. They will work for an independently owned, multi-award winning business with headquarters in Pontypool, South Wales.
Role summary:
Business Systems Analyst – 22-25k
Role would suit someone early in their business analyst career who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty with manual work while analysing and implementing innovative solutions to automate and improve
Key Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for FLS business systems, including troubleshooting issues and implementing updates.
- To assist with the day-to-day management and manual updates of core systems
- Supporting the Operational and Sales teams where required by processing and recording documentation for both client and suppliers
- Analyse current businesses processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement and automation
- To support the Business Systems manager with liaison between Internal / external users and external technology partners
- Support the business systems manager with projects and initiatives from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
- Carry out daily compliance checks and oversight reporting communicating results to business and helping resolve any breaches
- Chase supplier delivery documentation (PODs) and submit to business portals
- Process carrier and client applications, engage and onboard users onto the company’s core platforms
- Carry out data cleansing tasks
- Basic system configuration and data tasks (user administration etc.)

Key tasks
- Supporting the Data Director on all IT related tasks
- Supporting other team members in meeting their objectives
- Dealing with staff IT support calls – email or telephone
- Adding data to our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Assist with generating key client data for weekly/monthly review
- Assist with generating key supplier data for monthly review
- Oversight of business processes – producing reports for departmental review
- Assist with onboarding new carriers via phone
- Assist with FLS Carrier Portal queries from carriers and colleagues
- Carrier compliance checks and proactive compliance chasing
